    Roy has over 30 years experience in the management of occupational related risk. He has undertaken an MSc program at the Robens Institute, University of Surrey and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety, the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health along with a number of Professional qualifications related to Occupational Hygiene and Environmental Health. He is a member of a number of internationally recognised professional bodies, including the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Institute of Risk Management (IRM), the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and is a Registered Safety Practitioner (RSP). He is also registered in USA as a certified professional Environmental auditor specialising in Health and Safety.

With increasing globalisation comes the need for a common and consistent standard for achieving the health and safety of workers in all parts of the world.

The aim of the NEBOSH International General Certificate is to provide those making day-to-day decisions at work with a broad knowledge of health and safety issues.

This highly interactive five day course has been designed for all those involved in health and safety who require sound training leading to an internationally recognised qualification through examination and assessment. It is a unique international health and safety standard award. It has the same format and content as the National Certificate but focuses on internationally recognised health and safety standards and priorities (ILO/18001) and best practice in controlling hazards.

The course is based on a balanced combination of classroom teaching, workshop sessions and syndicate exercises supported by practical demonstrations and exercises within the industrial environment.
